Job Description

As "Senior Project Quality Manager ", you will be responsible for protecting and improving the quality as well as preventing of risks in deals, projects and services. You will also support Project Quality Checks and Escalation Management as well as Project Quality Assurance. You will be a good candidate if you have experience in Project Management (Overall planning, implementation, controlling and risk management of transition and transformation (T&T) , strategic and/or IT projects worldwide). You will have the end-to-end responsibility with your project team for the solution in close collaboration with the relevant departments of delivery as well as with the customer and suppliers.

Your other responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and Controlling project time, quality and cost.
  • Planning and realization of deal checks, quality gates and project audits
  • Ensure closing of Findings identified in Q-Gates
  • Identify lessons learned and bringing in your experience in the continuous improvements of the standards, processes and tools
  • Collaboration in Risk-, Overrun and Claim management
  • Defining an agreed way of Change management
  • Weekly / monthly review of status' of project/service and communication to the stakeholders.
  • Identify risk and initiating and tracking of Back to green plans.
  • Coaching of deal, project and service teams concerning T-systems standards
  • Support of internal and external audits (Management audits, ISO, CMMI)
  • Control of international virtual teams
  • Implementing Governance and Escalation management within the T-Systems and towards customer
  • Assuring acceptance of project results by the customer and the handover to operation

Qualifications

  • Experience with Quality management methods and standards
  • Good understanding of PM skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Experience in structuring and running Project Quality management system in complex IT projects
  • Good collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills
  • At least 3 years’ experience as IT Project Manager and/or Project Quality Manager in international environment
  • MS Project and Office knowledge
  • Advanced, business-fluent German and English
