Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support our industrial automation product, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interfaces), and Remote I/O solutions. The FAE will serve as a technical expert, providing pre-sales support, application consulting, and post-sales assistance to ensure successful customer adoption and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for PLC, HMI, and Remote I/O products, including system design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver pre-sales technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept testing.
  • Offer application consulting and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Conduct product training for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Support customers during project implementation, ensuring proper integration and optimization of automation systems.
  • Collect customer feedback and work closely with R&D and product management to improve products and solutions.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and technical workshops to promote company solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Solid knowledge of industrial control systems, automation architecture, and networking (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI design software, and Remote I/O configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in automation environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with major PLC/HMI platforms.
  • Familiarity with SCADA, IIoT, and Industry 4.0 applications.
  • Prior customer-facing or technical support experience.
