Job Description
- Key assignment within the automotive charging solutions program include:
- Starting from customer requirements, down to SW-requirements based on system architecture & design give input to the main task of developing and integrating software functions together with the colleagues in Asia
- Ensure integration testing and implementation of SW-functions to the target control unit
- SW-Development according to the V-model, ASPICE and FuSi-standards in closed collaboration with other departments at international locations, and with external partners
- One of the main tasks in Europe include:
- Manage software development of the project including SW-release management
- First face to customer in SW-specific topics also on site, if needed
- Debugging on customer site supporting the Field Application Engineer, if needed
- Create a close collaboration within the SW-development team and to other professional groups with in the development area of automotive Charging Solutions as well as to external partners
- Support implementation and sometimes create best practice methods, processes, tools for SW-Development of the automotive industry
Qualifications
- Successful academic study in the field of software engineering, power electronics or comparable study
- At least 5 years experience in development projects as development engineer for electronic and/or software for automotive customers ideally in charging solutions
- Know-how in software development for charging solutions (e.g. AC-Wallbox, DC Bidirectional Wallbox, Charging stations,..) or similar applications
- Experience of having used used/designed in embedded Linux, experience with OpenWRT is preferred
- Experience in software project management
- Familiarity with latest OCPP and ISO 15118 standards is a big plus
- Good understanding of V-Model process, ASPICE, requirements management and functional safety according ISO 26262 incl. related tools, the practical application of the process, methods, standards and the related implementation
- High ability to integrate in SW-teams and in project work with different disciplines and cultures
- Experience in working with Asian companies (Taiwan and/or China) is a plus
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Conversational German written and spoken is a plus
- Chinese knowledge is a big plus
