We are now looking for business analyst / consultant / senior consultant to join our Monitor Deloitte strategy team in Helsinki.

Monitor Deloitte is our strategy consulting practice, working with the leading and most ambitious corporations and public organizations to drive growth on the issues that are most important to them. Monitor Deloitte’s client engagements are predominantly in industries and organizations facing important - often profound - transitions. We typically work with CEOs, business unit heads and other members of the senior management team.

As a strategy consultant you will be involved in projects related to organic growth, corporate and business strategy, business design and configuration, ventures, strategic transformation and operating environment analyses. Together with our skilled team you will help our clients drive growth, improve margins and profitability, and create and drive transformational change.

You get energized by working in tightly knit teams with service designers, technical solution consultants, data analysts, and industry experts, where your role is e.g., to bring a strong business acumen and strategic thinking to the project. Your day-to day work consists of delivering high quality strategy projects within the team and participating in selling processes with more experienced colleagues.

Our practitioners are motivated by genuine interest and curiosity towards the problems they solve, originating from very different fields of business. We commit ourselves to providing these truly interesting opportunities to all our practitioners and expect this to turn into incomparable performance in the eyes of our clients. We engage the whole project team to work closely with the client and each other – to consult, debate, create and iterate.

To succeed in the role you

• have a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, strategy, finance, industrial engineering or similar)
• can communicate fluently in Finnish and English (and preferably one additional Nordic language)
• are genuinely passionate about strategy and business development
• have relevant work experience in strategy and/or business development within industries such as energy, resources & industrials, or financial services, with a solid track record
• have a good mix of the left and right brain - the role requires strategic-analytical skills paired with the ability to look outside of the box and strong interpersonal skills. You are first and foremost a team player and have a natural ability to influence people positively
• continually strive to exceed expectations
• you are eager to learn and develop your skill set
