Are you ready to build your career in Mergers and Acquisitions? Our Transaction Services team provides buy and sell-side advisory services in conjunction with corporate acquisitions and divestitures. The Transaction Services team focuses primarily on financial due diligence engagements where it is key to understand and analyse financial results of the target company (P&L, balance sheet and cash flows).  We are looking for students who are finalising their studies or who have already graduated to join our Transaction Services team as a Trainee in Helsinki.

We would like you to start your Trainee period in August - September 2024, lasting four to five months. Our goal is that as many Trainees as possible continue with us also after the Trainee period or after graduating.

As a Trainee you will be assisting our professionals in various due diligence and other client engagements. During your trainee period, you will deepen your knowledge in financial analysis, preparation of client deliverables and client interaction and gain insight into M&A processes. The selected Trainees will work as an integral part of the team and get a unique start to their career in M&A. We are a low hierarchy team with a strong team spirit. We always strive to help and teach our young future talents when needed.

What do we hope from you?

If you got excited reading the job description and you are result-orientated, diligent in your work, and eager to build your career in mergers and acquisitions you might just be the Transaction Services Trainee that we are looking for!

In addition, we also wish that you have:

• Good analytical skills
• Excellent academic record from e.g. accounting and finance
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and interest towards learning and applying analytical tools (e.g. Tableau, KNIME) in your work
• Fluency in English. Command of the Finnish language is considered an advantage

The preferred applicants have finished their bachelor’s degree and are currently finalizing their master’s degree studies.
