Do you have a passion towards sustainable business development? Would you like to support top Finnish companies in their sustainability development? We are looking for students who are finalising their studies or who have already graduated to join our Sustainability team as a Trainee in Helsinki.

We would like you to start your two-month Trainee period in March 2024. Our goal is that as many Trainees as possible continue with us also after the Trainee period or after graduating.

You will be part of our Climate & Sustainability team, which provides sustainable strategy, business development, risk assessment and management and reporting services for our private and public sector customers. You will also have the opportunity to work in other domains within our Deloitte business units.
 
Your role as a Trainee is to support our experienced sustainability professionals with various assignments related to sustainability, strategy and risk management. You will assist in projects related to e.g. decarbonization, circular economy, human rights, sustainability strategy and reporting as well as in business development projects. Moreover, your daily work includes supporting in client proposals, meetings, and sales together with your team as well as working on internal development related tasks. You will have the opportunity to utilize and further develop your skills in e.g. strategic thinking, client interaction and business process understanding.

In addition, we wish that you have:

• Recently graduated or are about to graduate with a master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, environmental and human rights law, environmental science, industrial engineering, sustainability etc.)
• A proactive in your working style with excellent team working skills
• Enthusiastic to learn more about various topics related to sustainability
• Skilled writer and fluent both in English and in Finnish
