• You lead complex operational transformation projects in the public sector. You manage multidisciplinary teams that support clients from operational strategy through implementation. You are responsible for project planning, budgeting and the quality of deliverables 
• You develop and maintain relationships with the client’s (senior) management and act as a strategic advisor, translating your experience and knowledge of best practices into practical solutions 
• You actively contribute to the development of proposals and pricing strategies, identify opportunities with existing and prospective clients, and take a leading role in business development to address our clients’ current challenges 
• You coach and develop team members, encourage collaboration, and contribute to attracting, supporting and retaining talent 
• You use your network and knowledge of the public sector to translate relevant trends, challenges and developments into opportunities for both clients and Deloitte

Additionally, as a (Senior) Manager you have: 

• A master's degree and/or MBA and at least 6 years of relevant (consulting) work experience, the majority of which has been gained in the public sector 
• Demonstrable experience in supporting business transformations, optimizing core processes, and leading complex projects and programs, while leveraging opportunities offered by AI and automation 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, allowing you to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely, manage conflicting interests, and navigate effectively in complex environments 
• A broad network within the public sector and an understanding of current trends and challenges 
• Experience in leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary, high-performing teams, helping team members grow, providing constructive feedback and supporting their professional development  
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written 

As a (Senior) Manager within Operations Industry & Domain Solutions (OI&DS), you lead multidisciplinary Deloitte teams through complex transformations in the public sector. You will work for public sector clients, for example in the defense, justice and security domain or central government agencies. You will guide them through different stages of a transformation: from defining an operational strategy to redesigning and implementing operating models and core processes.  

You build sustainable client relationships, act as a trusted advisor to executives and senior management and help shape strategic decisions. In doing so, you combine deep industry expertise with an understanding of the challenges facing the public sector. You lead complex projects and successfully translate strategy into tangible results. We believe that the greatest impact comes from working alongside the client to turn the proposed solution into reality.  

Together with your team, you develop and implement innovative and scalable solutions that help our public clients respond to challenges such as resource shortages, digitalization, and geopolitical tensions. You collaborate with and learn from experts with diverse backgrounds and in-depth sector knowledge.
