Job Description
What will your typical day look like?
- You will be working with client executives across a wide range of organisations as a trusted advisor to address their challenges and opportunities, bringing innovative solutions to their most difficult strategic issues. Working collaboratively is a core value we practice every day.
- You will be responsible for managing engagements, providing our clients with the insights and solutions they need to grow, improve performance, and create sustainable competitive advantage. You will help clients take advantage of the many opportunities and challenges brought about by developments on both a local and world stage.
- As a Director/ Associate Director within our Strategy and Business Design team you will play an active role in leading and coaching engagement teams, working on our clients’ most pressing strategic and operational issues.
- As well as guiding your team on the day-to-day delivery of outcomes for clients, you will also contribute to the commercial success of our Strategy & Business Design, and wider Consulting practice by developing deep client relationships, identifying opportunities to make a difference, and selling client work.

Qualifications
You are someone with:
- 15 + years demonstrated experience, managing, and delivering strategy development and execution projects working collaboratively with senior executives and Boards.
- You must have 5+ years’ experience in a senior role in a high performing Consulting environment, either in professional services or strategy advisory.
- Experience in designing and operationalising enterprise / organisational strategy in the private sector, ideally in financial services, consumer goods or healthcare.
- M&A experience, either due diligence or post-merger integration/separation is highly regarded
- You are able to understand client issues and pull together the right team to meet these challenges.
- You possess strong quantitative and analysis skills, are able to uncover the heart of problems, identify root causes, offer clear solutions and drive change.
- An ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders with differing skill sets and expertise within Deloitte, with our clients and in the broader ecosystem.
- You have experience and passion for directing, developing, and mentoring a diverse and inclusive team. You enjoy seeing practitioners grow and develop and you will have an eye for talent, playing an active role in the growth of our team.
- Ability to communicate, present and contextualise complex ideas concisely and accurately while adjusting style and tone to suit your audience.
- Proven business development experience, from lead generation and leading bid management through to the delivery of client engagements.
