Job Description
The impact you’ll make
- Protect the targeted outcomes for our clients on large transformation engagements
- Develop the capability of our team
- Drive delivery excellence through excellent stakeholder management both upwards and across delivery teams
- Be empowered to lead client and stakeholder sessions to understand complex challenges, support project team members, and manage stakeholders towards project and programme goals.
- Strong desire to maintain a high level of continuous learning in the latest processes and methodologies available in market.
Qualifications
Your expertise
- Experience in a delivery management capacity in delivering large technology-enabled transformations. E.g. ERP, finance transformation
- Programme director, programme manager experience
- Experience in professional services is preferred
- Ability to self-start
- Demonstrated success in collaboration across large multi-functional teams
- Ability to adapt style to effectively manage diverse stakeholders – both upwards and downwards
- Ability to manage executive and senior management stakeholders
- Delivery management skills that drive collaboration across workstreams – planning, performance management, dependency management
- Experience / knowledge in mobilisation of large programmes of work, including governance models, team structures/design, value stream / workstream constructs, ways of working, planning, reporting, RAID management, stakeholder management, and commercial / budget management. Including a sound understanding of these processes and enabling tools.
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage the programme budget
- People management and performance management
- Issue management and effective use of escalation paths
- Ability to monitor progress to milestones / longer term plan, whilst driving a culture of delivery execution
