The impact you’ll make 

As a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for managing a team and a portfolio of clients ranging in size and covering a broad range of accounting and tax issues. You will develop effective business relationships with clients, deliver outstanding advice, exceed our clients' expectations, and partner with their businesses to grow.  

You will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas: 

  • Being a role model and mentor for our Accountants by influencing the team positively. 
  • Managing multiple jobs concurrently. 
  • Regular communication with clients and teams to ensure the smooth running of jobs.  
  • Reviewing accounts 
  • Building trusted and credible client relationships.  
  • Identifying and providing insightful recommendations about a broad range of accounting and tax issues in a timely manner. 

Qualifications

Your expertise: 

Bring your passion for accounting and tax and see what impact you can make. You’ll have: 

  • At least 2.5 years accounting experience in a CA Firm, delivering financial reporting, tax compliance, and advisory services to SMEs, trusts, and PBEs within a professional services environment. 
  • An Accounting degree 
  • CA ANZ/CPA qualified or in the process of obtaining 
  • Solid understanding of the accounting and tax issues facing SMEs in NZ. 
  • Experienced in financial analysis and weekly cashflow forecasting across NZD, AUD, and USD currencies. 
  • Partnered with senior executives to manage financial reporting operations for PBE clients. 
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients & colleagues. 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.  
  • An energetic and proactive attitude.  
  • Led process improvement initiatives and coordinated with teams to streamline multi-currency treasury operations and batch payments.

For this permanent position you will be rewarded with a competitive salary (from $75,000 to $82,000 p.a. dependent on experience), healthcare insurance subsidy, and mobile phone benefit.
