Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. Our goal is to meet the growing demand for Talent in Africa and Europe; by recruiting and developing Talent throughout Sub Saharan Africa in order to service the diverse needs and to enable projects at our clients. Job Description

​​​​​​​Main Purpose of the Job

The role requires a seasoned and capable TA Consultant with strong Talent Acquisition experience, sound judgement, and the ability to independently manage key elements of the recruitment life cycle. Working closely with the TA Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant recruitment or talent acquisition certification will be advantageous.

Experience

  • 3+ years of Talent Acquisition or Recruitment experience.
  • Experience recruiting within professional services, consulting, financial services, technology, or corporate environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing mid-to-senior level professionals.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • End to end Graduate recruitment
  • Smart Recruiter experience or recruitment CRM experience
  • MIE and Smart screen experience

  • Co-ordinates activities or events for the team, function or service area in support of the defined strategic objectives.

  • Monitors client needs relating to role and adapts to changing requirements
  • Defines and proposes ways to improve processes and /or systems to enhance the delivery to the business
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across various business units and consulting functions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source, attract, and engage top talent through multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct search methodologies.
  • Conduct candidate screening, competency-based interviews, and assessments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and stakeholders.
  • Provide market intelligence and recruitment insights to hiring managers and business leaders.

Operational Effectiveness

  • Effectively coordinates processes to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Checks for accuracy in all processing of information
  • Mitigates risk factors through thorough evaluation of requirements and documentation
  • Provides accurate and detailed reporting as relevant to the role
  • Supports team / business with assistance on overflow work that arises to ensure effective delivery to business
  • Works within approved budget and timelines
