Job Description

Main Purpose:

To contribute as part of a broader support team, delivering integrated support services to our existing and potential new clients on assigned engagements or projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP Integration & Development: Research, develop, implement, and maintain SAP systems and third-party applications, with expertise in SAP Cloud BTP, ABAP, SAP PI/PO, and middleware platforms. Design and develop SAP iFlows, APIs, and integrations using REST/OData, JSON, and GroovyScript.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Apply logical and analytical thinking to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues. Identify risks and issues proactively, and propose system enhancements with senior guidance.
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform daily monitoring of SAP systems, execute relevant activities during and after SAP upgrades, and maintain data integrity. Log into servers for monitoring, maintenance, and system administration tasks.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Read and understand testing processes for SAP systems. Review code, write and execute unit tests, monitor and add SAP system test data. Utilise REST Consoles for comprehensive API testing.
  • Documentation & Communication: Document functional and technical designs, test cases, and results to professional standards. Draft and present clear documentation to clients. Provide ongoing communication to teams regarding engagement status, changes, and achievements.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Enter data into the SAP system accurately and efficiently. Generate reports using the SAP system to support decision-making. Analyse data to identify trends and patterns that drive business value.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with other SAP Specialists and departments to deliver and maintain SAP functionalities. Provide support to other SAP system users and collaborate with suppliers to understand data entry requirements.
  • Continuous Learning & Best Practices: Continuously embrace and keep up to date with SAP and non-SAP tools and technology. Demonstrate proficiency in version control (GIT), development best practices, and maintain delivery of services against agreed SLAs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • SAP Certified Associate - SAP Integration Suite
  • SAP Certified Associate – SAP PI/PO
  • Degree (3 years) or National Diploma in IT related course

Minimum Experience:

  • 7+ years working experience in SAP Integration and Development.
  • Must have experience working in a support environment (AMS).
  • 5 Years in a client facing role

Desired Qualifications:

  • SAP Certified - Solution Architect - SAP BTP
  • SAP Certified - SAP Business Data Cloud
  • SAP Certified - Solution Transformation Consultant with SAP Cloud ALM
