As an Azure Data Analyst, you will need to ensure that the request matches the needs and assess whether the data sets are fit for purpose. You will translate requests for data from either modelling team, regulator or monitoring and back-testing team directly into code or adequately instruct developers on how to do so.

We are looking for an Azure Senior Consultant, with at least 4 years of experience in creating extensive SQL scripts, targeting large volumes of historical data in a complex landscape with a wide range of sources, sometimes decommissioned or poorly documented.

• A preferred Master’s degree or Honours Degree in Economics, Finance, or quantitative field (mathematics, physics or similar)
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• A background in banking and/or finance industry
• An understanding of credit risk modelling
• At least 4 years' experience in writing database queries and merging, cleaning and processing data
• Python, PowerBI, SQL, Matla, R-Studio, git
• The ability to present solutions and provide clear documentation of all steps, so that data sets are not only useable, but sustainable.
