Job Description
- Knowledge of supply chain management best practices in one or more of the below areas:
- Logistics & Distribution Operations: warehousing, road freight, international trade and global shipping.
- Supply Chain Planning: Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, and Supply/Demand Planning.
- Digital Supply Networks: synchronised/concurrent planning software, network modelling software, control tower platforms, …
- Inventory Management: inventory visibility, analysis, and optimisation solutions.
- Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI): AI/ML applications, data analysis, data visualisation, simulation modelling, process mining, …
- Ongoing delivery-focus, with attention to quality, completeness, and timeliness
- Assists in shaping supply chain engagements
- Practice development: contribute to business development and asset building
Qualifications
BSC Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Chemical) or equivalent
Additional Information
Key Competencies required:
- Hands-on experience in supply chain management in at minimum one, and preferably more of the below areas:
- Logistics & Distribution Operations: warehousing, road freight, international trade, and global shipping.
- Supply Chain Planning: Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, or Supply/Demand Planning.
- Digital Supply Networks: synchronised/concurrent planning software, network modelling software, control tower platforms, …
- Inventory Management: inventory visibility, analysis, and optimisation solutions.
- Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI): AI/ML applications, data analytics, data visualisation, simulation modelling, process mining, digital twin.
- Industry experience in Mining & Energy, FMCG, Automotive, or Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences is an asset.
- Basic management consulting skills
- Experience in drafting professional presentations and reports
- Experience in leading a work stream within a project framework
- Experience leading small teams
- Basic financial knowledge and understanding
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Business acumen
