The role will support the Reward and Well-being team through Business Development and Marketing activities that promote the product and service offerings within the team.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Business Development and Marketing Strategy
Developing and defining the Business Development and Marketing Strategy for Salary Surveys and broader Reward offerings. This is to include the following:
- Key focus areas.
- Channels for marketing and business development.
- Targeted industries and clients.
2. New Business Development
Acquire new clients and cross-selling to existing clients, with activities including:
- Understanding the client’s needs and objectives.
- Advising a client of the standard, customised product offerings or services aligned with their needs and objectives.
3. Client Retention and Cross-selling
Execute on the process to renew or repeat survey contracts prior to it expiring, including:
- Notifying the client of the expiry of the contract.
- Engaging with the client to assess their needs.
4. Monitoring and Reporting
- Managing the business development agenda across the team.
- Monitoring and reporting of sales activities.
- Reporting of results and progress against the targets.
- Contribute to the defining of team and individual targets.
5. Client Service
- Build distinctive client relationships by establishing credibility, positioning our firm as a marketplace leader, seeking and maintaining deep networks and consistently demonstrating our unique ability to deliver valuable, innovative and high-quality client services.
6. Firm Contribution
- Live our purpose by demonstrating cross-service collaboration in alignment to the strategic direction of our Firm locally, our marketplace and our clients, contributing ideas and connecting with our teams to innovate.
- Support the team in establishing and contributing to improved ways of working and improved products.
- Actively contribute to system developments applied for salary survey through user testing, requirements for monitoring and reporting and communicating client needs and preferences.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Marketing or Business Management
- 5 – 8 years’ working experience
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification (relevant to Marketing / Business Management, etc)
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a Marketing and Business Development role
