About Africa Talent

Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a separate legal entity based in South Africa and was formed between Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands in order to meet the growing demand for Talent in Africa and Europe; and to establish a competency centre that can compete with other delivery centres in India and beyond. While incorporated in South Africa, the goal is to recruit and develop Talent throughout Sub Saharan Africa in order to service the diverse needs to enable projects at our clients. Talent employed, will have the full experience of Deloitte, while getting both local and international exposure to a diverse set of clients, working remotely from Africa.  It will take advantage of the demographic reality of Africa as a future source of talent for both Africa and Europe and at its core is the goal to create employment in Africa and invest in African talent.
 

We are engaged in the development of a (historical) data set covering about 15 years as bank. For this, historical data must be extracted from client systems and files. This data must be substantiated and recorded in an application that is ultimately used for the bank's risk models. The recording of this data must be able to be assessed and approved by an audit investigation. It is of key importance that the data that is collected is accurate and can be substantiated. The data collection, processing and subsequent quality review is being done by our remediation team.

We are looking to expand our remediation team to fill in the quality review role. Quality review involves that validation of work that is been done by the remediation execution team, based on available data sets and using the documentation that has been collected by the execution team.

Review is executed risk based and review results are fed back to the remediation execution team for efficiency improvement and quality improvements. Review results may lead to rejection of work packages, requiring reprocessing

•    Knowledge of banking, insurance, asset management, contract management and/or remediation is a plus
•    Knowledge of Afrikaans/Dutch/German is a plus.
