About the Department
Deloitte’s Audit service offering utilizes a comprehensive methodology designed to bring our extensive professional and technical resources to audit engagements in an efficient, and cost-effective manner. In our audit process, we combine a rigorous risk and needs analysis, diagnostic processes, and a client service assessment structured to provide our clients with a superior audit clearly focused on them.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to join our Audit team as Levvia Deliver Centre Team Leaders. These positions will be based in our Nairobi office in Kenya.
Job Description
Main purpose of the job
The ideal candidate will be a role model for change, have keen interest in the development of junior staff and be an ambassador for the Deliver Centre. In this role, you will support Audit to deliver strategic Audit Transformation goals specifically within the Levvia Delivery Centre. The key component of this role is to ensure the successful performance of your team, focus on ensuring high quality of work, be effective at operational line management and contribute to continuous improvement. You will be responsible for developing the team and ensuring the implementation of processes and procedures to support the Levvia Delivery Centre operations. This will include providing and receiving feedback on improvements to processes and procedures. You will be required to show initiative, be proactive and work independently to solve problems
What you will do
- Manage, develop, and coach the Delivery Centre staff;
- Develop and have a pastoral care role for staff during rotation;
- Embed standardization and the Deloitte way;
- Complete and review participants work before it is returned to the onsite team;
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement; and
- Promote the use of DC in the business.
Qualifications
- Have at least three (3) years working experience.
- Be passionate about staff development.
- Be a Pioneer and Relationship builder.
- Have a strong sense of ownership.
- Self-driven for quality outcomes.
- Be an inspiration to junior staff.
- Previous Team Leader experience in a Delivery Centre (DC) will be an added advantage.
