Job Description

Main Purpose of Job:

  • Implement and evaluate leadership development initiatives that support the Business Unit in achieving its strategic objectives.
  • Develop an advisory relationship with the Business Unit.
  • Implement change management principles in support of organisational change which impacts our people.

Differentiators for this specific role:

  • Act as key contact for all Development Lab matters
  • Work with HPL lead and programme manager, facilitators and HRBP to tailor the design of labs for all service lines.
  • Recruit and manage a team of SC/M co-managers from SL/HP BP.
  • Train and support the development of co-Lab managers.
  • Co-ordinate with P&P leadership, nominating partners (PE labs) and HPLP programme manager to prioritise participants in line with their development needs and urgency.
  • Decide on best-fit facilitator and co-managers (if applicable) to support participants development needs while considering confidentiality/conflict.
  • Plan and lead lab planning calls with co-manager (where applicable), co-ordinator (and facilitator where needed).
  • Manage and monitor lab co-ordinator in executing the planning and logistics.
  • Drive key lab activities - preparation, research, 360, interviews, lab day coordination, album/report development
  • Act as centre point for the Lab - coordinate between participant, facilitator, co-managers, co-ordinator, M/LADC team, client service assessment team, etc.
  • Co-ordinate, follow-up and analyse participant questionnaires
  • Co-ordinate, follow-up and analyse 360 feedback.
  • Schedule and lead interviews with participants, stakeholders and coaches (Partners/Directors), (with facilitator to listen and ask add-on questions where needed)
  • Inform and support the facilitators - preparation, client/business unit and role research, and meeting preparation
  • Prepare interview summary, and extract key opportunities, expectations, strengths and development area themes
  • Prepare recommended quotes, tailored to specific themes from interviews.
  • Prepare recommended priorities, tailored to business unit and specific role.
  • Prepare recommended development activities, tailored to the needs identified (pre and during lab)
  • Understand the business unit, role, individual participant and lab facilitation process in order to be comfortable conversing with the participant and supporting facilitation process if needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Degree
  • Desired Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification (relevant to Service Area / Business Management, etc.)
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years’ working experience within the relevant function
  • Desired Experience: 2 years at Consultant level within the function
