Main Purpose of Job

To support the team in providing opinions on various tax matters.  Review / prepare complex corporate tax calculations and deferred tax proofs for year-end and tax return purposes

Qualifications & Experience required

Required

CA (SA); BComm (Accounting) Honours

3 years working experience

Preferred

Higher Diploma in Taxation or M Com in Tax or prepared to study towards a Tax qualification

3 years in a client-facing role

• Tax Advisory and Consulting – Drafts reports, identifies key issues/risks, and proposes solutions for clients on tax planning and implementation strategies

• Documentation – Incorporates the requirements of management equity plans into transaction structure/capital structure

• Due Diligence - Utilizes M&A related tax concepts to develop deep understanding of the target and the potential tax implications of the
