Job Description

Role Summary

This role will manage end to end Travel desk support on a range of all travel activities, managing, negotiating, playing a key role for the travel desk team and delivering good travel experience to the employees, etc.

 

Note: The role will be negotiating prices of different countries, handling complex data, reviewing policies, identifying gaps and making recommendations for process improvements.

 

What’s On Your Plate?

  • Assist employees in making travel arrangements internationally and domestically to include hotel and car rentals.

  • Secured reservations for air travel, hotel and car rentals, following up when necessary, to complete the reservation

  • Advised the employees on destinations and made arrangements for transportation, accommodations, car rentals

  • Completed travel arrangements and related services for employees including air, hotel and car at lowest possible fares to maximize revenue

  • Provided advice about visas or passports, verified that all travel arrangements are confirmed prior to departure

  • Follow all company policies and procedures to assure accurate travel arrangements for employees.

  • Coordinated and made professional, accurate and cost-effective travel arrangements for the employees

  • Provided outstanding customer service by assisting with on-line flight bookings and hotel reservations

  • Calculate rates and introduce a high volume of savings

  • Maintained and excellent track record for effectively managing and growing corporate accounts

  • Handled all related admin/personnel & accounting issues with regards to air travel eligibility for reimbursement

  • Ensure to keep the travel cost within the budget

 

What Did We Order?

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of travel desk processes, policy, and systems

  • 2-4 years’ Experience in Travel Desk Management.

  • Strong analytical skills to ensure both short- and long-term business goals, objectives, and targets are met

  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts with Hotels and other parties

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Accuracy and precise attention to detail

  • Ability to work with management and staff at all levels
