Job Description

What's on your plate?

 

  • Oversees quality, freshness, and food safety of products in a distribution center as they flow from suppliers through distribution centers to stores.
  • Inspect quality of adequate samples of inbound and outbound warehouse products to ensure predefined quality standards are met
  • Ensures 3rd party compliance with company policies and procedures for all activities related to stock management (inbound, storage, handling and outbound)
  • Communicate with the commercial team regarding quality of products being received into the distribution center
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Conduct regular check on ready to ship orders
  • Report/Escalate any major issues noticed to IC management in a timely manner
  • Monitoring performance of warehouse activities and practices, and preparing management and technical reports
  • Determine/Recommend required enhancements and/or training needs for 3rd party staff and discuss with management
  • Assess/Review implementation of approved policies & procedures and quality standards


What did we order?

  • Atleast 3 years of experience in FMCG Retail business
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Proficiency in English Language, Arabic preferred
