Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of harmful content policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Analyze and review user-generated content to assess its harmful nature and provide recommendations for action
• Assist team members on harmful content qualification and classification
• Improve, adjust, and monitor the team’s ability to assess content (track relevant metrics, generate activity report…)
• Explore opportunities to improve how the team moderates content through regular audits and calibration
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder to identify emerging trends, provide insights on existing ones and take appropriate actions
• Provide recommendations for adjustment to policies, procedures and user facing language to enhance the effectiveness of harmful content qualification and classification
• Collaborate with other members of the Trust & Safety team to ensure continuous distribution of knowledge within the team
• Note that this role will requires non-restricted on-call status Timeframe

Required:

• 2+ years investigating harmful content with a strong understanding or online content moderation practices and processes
• Experience in Trust & Safety or a related field, investigating harmful content with a strong understanding or online content moderation practices and processes
• Strong understanding or online content moderation practices and processes
• Experience investigating and qualifying harmful content, especially hateful and terrorist content
• Experience interacting with customers
• Good analytical & Excel skills
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).

Preferred:

• Experience with Zendesk (or similar customer service software)
• Experience with SQL and Looker (or similar visualization tool)
• Power Point presentation skills
• Understand (spoken) Arabic
