Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:30–18:30 | No weekends

As a multi-drop parcel delivery driver, you’ll be the face of DPD - providing excellent service on local delivery routes around St Austell and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for:

• Collecting and delivering parcels in a 3.5 tonne van
• Starting each shift at the depot by loading your vehicle efficiently
• Following a daily schedule for time-sensitive collections and deliveries
• Driving safely and maintaining your van to company standards
• Using a handheld device to scan and track deliveries
• Obtaining customer signatures or other proof of delivery
• Reporting any issues or delays to your supervisor promptly
• Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy through daily checks
• Adapting to changing weather conditions and adjusting your delivery approach accordingly
• Collaborating with depot staff and other drivers for smooth operations
• Wearing your DPD uniform and PPE at all times

What You’ll Need

To apply, you’ll need:

• A full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
• Regular driving experience and confidence behind the wheel
• A professional, customer-first approach
• The ability to work to deadlines and think on your feet
• Basic tech skills (for using handheld scanners)
• Physical fitness to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Good knowledge of the local area and roads
• A willingness to work in all weather conditions
• A team-focused attitude
