Job Description

We are looking for experienced and motivated Shift Managers for our new site in London Docklands. We are looking for managers who 

• Thrive working within a pressured, fast paced and time-bound environment
• Are comfortable work to strict KPI’s with some budgetary requirements
• Can effectively manage and motivate their teams of drivers and/or warehouse operatives
• Are passionate about delivering a quality service

DPD operates across 7 days so you will need to be flexible to work 5 shifts from 7 to include weekends. The roles on offer include

Shift Manager Dispatch  

• Ensure depot target for Core Routes is achieved
• Ensure depot target Stops Per Route (SPR) is achieved
• Ensure company target for CITO is achieved
• Ensure Depot Clear is achieved

PM Shift Manager 

• Ensure trailer departures from Depot and customer sites leave at the designated time
• Ensure all parcels are collection scanned
• Ensure depot target for PPMHR is achieved
• Ensure company target for security searches is achieved

Shift Manager Sortation Nights 

• Ensure company CAD % is achieved
• Ensure depot Throughput target is achieved in line with targeted tip time.
• Ensure company target for Saturations is achieved. 
• Achieve depot PPMH target

Shift Manager Customer Experience 

 
●  Ensure company target for Premium Service is achieved.
●  Ensure there are zero Exceptions
●  Ensure company target for Collection Service is achieved
●  Ensure company target for Delivery ETAs is achieved

Shift Manager Collections 

• Ensure Collection Service targets are achieved
• Ensure depot targets for Early Volume are achieved
• Ensure company target for Collection ETAs is achieved
• Ensure company target for Saturn Success is achieved

About You

You will have experience in a fast paced operation with proven and demonstrable people management experience, involving direct accountability and responsibility for motivating and leading a high performing team. Additionally we would also expect:

• You will have strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and effectively manage a team
• Decisive and effective decision-making, problem resolution and time management skills.
• Demonstrate high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Google chrome applications
• The ability to do comprehensive reporting, alongside analysis of data is a key requirement for this role.
