Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer that will be working on all the power-related components, at a vehicle and rotor level. You will be responsible for designing power distributions (e.g. IGBT, MOSFET, DC- link), high voltage power electronics for E-drive and various other subsystems on an aircraft level.

As an Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Designing CycloRotor E-Drive systems and identifying components.
  • System and equipment design, development, verification and test on HIL, propulsion system test-bench and vehicle.
  • Contribution to the electromagnetic and thermal design of the electric components in the eDrive system.
  • Directing and coordinating manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
  • Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders, such as aerodynamics, structures, simulation, systems engineering, certification, testing, and customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with electrical vehicles as an electrical engineer, in either aviation or automotive.
  • Experience with testing, verification and qualification in relation to electrical applications.
  • ATA24 knowledge and experience (or equivalent in automotive).
  • Experience with high voltage power electronics for E-drive.
  • Supply management and hands-on experience.
  • Structured and result oriented mentality.
  • Certification experience and DO160, ARP 4754 knowledge.
  • MATLAB/ Simulink knowledge and experience.
