Job Description

As a Direct Procurement Specialist for parts needed to develop and manufacture the aircraft and engine you will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and will be responsible for executing their procurement. We are looking for someone that has relevant experience in new aircraft/eVTOL development programs, EXCLUDING CAMO, OPS and MRO.

They will also be in charge with finding and preliminary assessing the suppliers according to existing technical and quality requirements. In addition, the role also entails administrating contracts, payments, and shipping processes to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery of equipment, materials, and services for the needs of the company. 

Qualifications

 

Main tasks & responsibilities: 

  • Search & assess potential suppliers of equipment, material, and services.
  • Prepare requests for commercial and technical proposals.
  • Analyse commercial proposals for compliance with technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
  • Draft contracts and purchase orders, manage payments and shipping documents.
  • Status tracking of production, payments and deliveries from suppliers.
  • Check invoices against the respective Purchase Orders and confirming OTD and OQD data.
  • Claiming work with suppliers and contractors.
  • Control of inventories for excessive ordering.
  • Interact with the warehouse for incoming inspection and stock moves.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Procurement, Technical or Logistics field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation in procurement and suppliers’ management.
  • Relevant experience in new aircraft / eVTOL development programs
  • Fluent communication in English is a must. German is nice to have. 
  • Proficient with supply chain and regulatory constraints in aviation.
  • Excellent negotiation & communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an international environment. 
  • Structured, independent, accurate and solution-oriented work ethic.
  • Familiar with MS Office and ERP software.
