Job Description
Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Core Services Domain.
In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users.
You’ll also make an impact by:
Functional & Automation Testing
- Understand FinTech portal features deeply and derive comprehensive end‑to‑end test scenarios.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for web portals and APIs.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks.
Tooling & Platform Support
Use industry-standard tools such as AccelQ, Playwright, JMeter, or similar testing frameworks. Provide L2 Support for both portal applications and API. Ensure all test automation frameworks and performance testing tools are optimally configured and maintained.
Performance & Load Testing
Define performance testing criteria and benchmark expectations for portals and APIs. Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to identify bottlenecks and system limitations. Configure key parameters (latency, throughput, response benchmarks) to validate API and portal performance. Diagnose performance issues and work with engineering teams to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Strong understanding of FinTech platform workflows and user journeys.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as AccelQ, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools, especially JMeter.
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks using logs, metrics, monitoring dashboards, and profiler tools.
- Solid understanding of API concepts, HTTP methods, response codes, and performance parameters.
- Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
- Experience testing systems in the payments or FinTech domain.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Shell).
- Understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
