We are now recruiting for a Valeter to join our team on a Full time and permanent basis. 

Job Description

The Vehicle Valeter is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are presented professionally for customers, sales, and workshop collection. The role involves both interior and exterior vehicle cleaning, washing, polishing and trim preparations. The Valeter must adherence to health and safety procedures this to include use of chemicals.

  • Wash, clean, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors.
  • Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, and windows.
  • Apply appropriate cleaning products and valeting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Prepare vehicles for customer collection, sale, delivery, or workshop handover.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and report any defects or concerns to management.
  • Remove stickers, protective coverings, and contaminants from vehicles.
  • Replenish consumables and maintain valeting equipment and work areas.
  • Move vehicles safely around the site when authorised and licensed to do so.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and attention to detail.
  • Follow company health and safety policies and environmental procedures.
  • Assist with general yard and workshop housekeeping as required.

Salary: £12.71 per hour.

Shifts: 

  • Mon – 08:00 to16:30
  • Tue – 08:00 to 16:30
  • Wed – 08:00 to 16:30
  • Thu – 07:30 to 16:00
  • Fri – 07:30 to 16:00.

Qualifications

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full UK driving licence (if required by the role)
