Job Summary
The Staff Recruiter is responsible for the execution of the full life-cycle recruiting for the firm’s professional staff positions. The Staff Recruiter will work closely with the recruiting team and department managers to identify and establish talent acquisition strategies to achieve staffing objectives.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for the execution of the full life-cycle recruiting of assigned positions for the firm’s professional staff.
• Executes creative sourcing strategies to locate quality talent; maintains candidate pipelines in order to capitalize on passive candidates.
• Works collaboratively with department leaders and HR Business Partners to assess and identify staffing needs and effective recruitment strategies.
• Manages applicant workflow by maintaining up-to-date information in the applicant tracking system.
• Conducts interviews to identify best candidates.
• Develops and cultivates relationships with hiring managers, and keeps stakeholders abreast of the recruitment effort through periodic reporting.
• Conducts reference checks and candidate background vetting, including initiation of the background verification process.
• Prepares and delivers offers to candidates; manages all candidate preparation for new hire processes including but not limited to; offer management, background screening and placement.
• Ensures the appropriate employment offer letter language (i.e. repayment agreements) and on-boarding processes are executed accordingly.
• Serves as main point of contact for staffing agencies and vendors; oversees vendor agreement execution, resume submissions, and full life-cycle recruitment process for agency candidates.
• Establish and maintain effective recruitment metrics, systems, processes, systems and tools
• Works with Staff Recruiting team to develop and propose annual expense budgets.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the full life-cycle recruitment/talent acquisition process.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of MS suite of products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of applicant tracking systems and applicant workflow process.
• Ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts, regarding non-legal matters of a routine nature.
• Ability to analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, apply critical and creative thinking to draw conclusions or develop solutions to complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with attorneys, staff, vendors and external contacts.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload.
Education
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in related field. Equivalent training and experience may substitute for education.
Experience
The position requires a minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated.
