Job Description
The Investor Relations Director will lead the company’s engagement with the investment community and oversee all aspects of the Investor Relations function. This role is responsible for shaping and communicating the company’s financial and strategic narrative to investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders while ensuring transparency, credibility, and alignment with the company’s long-term strategy. The role is a sole contributor who will manage every aspect of the Investor Relations function.
The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights into investor sentiment, market dynamics, and analyst perspectives to support effective capital markets communication and positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Investor and Analyst Engagement
- Lead relationships with the global investment community, including institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor and analyst inquiries.
- Coordinate and participate in investor meetings and conferences.
- Maintain strong relationships with key investors and analysts to ensure clear communication of the company’s strategy and performance.
Earnings and Financial Communications
- Lead the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings processes, including earnings releases, press releases, investor presentations, call scripts, and Q&A preparation.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure accurate and consistent disclosure of financial results and business performance.
- Manage the development of investor-facing materials including investor presentations, earnings scripts, and shareholder communications.
Market Intelligence and Investor Insights
- Monitor analyst coverage, investor sentiment, and industry trends.
- Provide regular insights and feedback to executive leadership regarding market perception, shareholder dynamics, and competitive positioning.
- Track consensus estimates and key drivers of analyst models.
IR Support
- Prepare senior leadership for investor engagements and earnings calls.
- Support the CFO and executive team with messaging, investor Q&A preparation, and market insights.
- Provide periodic updates to the CFO and executive team regarding investor sentiment and shareholder dynamics.
- Co-ordinate and administer all communications and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate: 5+ years of experience in Investor Relations at a public company with an equity analyst background. Investment Banking or Corporate Finance is a plus.
- Experience supporting or leading Investor Relations for a public company is essential.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial analysis, and public company reporting.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear investor messaging.
- Experience preparing senior executives for investor and analyst interactions.
- Proven ability to build relationships with institutional investors and analysts.

- Ability to travel a few times per year.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are desirable for candidates coming from Investment Banking.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
