Job Description

The primary role of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly AX) advisor is to assist Createch customers in implementing the solution. As such, it will have to:

  • Analyze clients' business processes, needs and system design;
  • Work with customers to streamline their existing processes with Dynamics 365;
  • Interpret the business needs in design of the solution;
  • Design and deliver engagements to customer sites;
  • Perform configuration, functional testing and integrated testing of the solution;
  • Support and coach other team members as needed (technical and functional);
  • Provide and direct user training for external and internal clients;
  • Conduct Go-Live and Post-go-live support;
  • Assist the team's pre-sales efforts as needed;

Qualifications

  • Hold an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or equivalent;
  • Experience and advanced knowledge with the two most recent versions of Dynamics 365, especially in the financial modules (Financial Management, Expense Management, HRM and Payroll, Project Management and Project Accounting...)
  • Extensive functional knowledge in finance (General Ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, multiple business management, multiple currency management, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Budgeting, Project Budgeting, Project Management and Project Accounting;
  • Knowledge of HRM and payroll;
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools (Management Reporter)
  • Knowledge of inventory and manufacturing costs and accounting;
  • Mastery of MS Office tools;
  • Excellent knowledge of business processes;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Have good oral and written communication skills, in French and English in order to communicate with clients located across Canada;
  • Ready to travel outside the region for projects.

Preferred Skills/Competencies

  • Experience in business process reengineering, preferably during ERP project;
  • Experience with two complete Dynamics 365 implementations;
  • Certification Financial management in MBS Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ou son équivalent
  • CPA designation or equivalent, an asset;
  • Experience with other solutions in the Dynamics range, an asset (SL, NAV, CRM);
  • Experience with AX For Retail;
  • Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions;
  • Ability to adapt, synthesize, popularize technical concepts;
  • Strong focus on customer service;
  • Team spirit
