Job Description

Every Nautique Boat that leaves our plant must meet or exceed Nautique's standards. You will inspect, prep and drive each boat in order to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Job Duties:

  • Inspect each boat and complete several quality tests
  • Run each boat on the lake for a specified length of time to ensure the boat is running to its optimum performance
  • Inspect, monitor, record and report quality data
  • Enforce quality procedures and note corrective actions taken
  • Coach production team on quality control issues and work with management on improving safety and quality

 

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marine manufacturing
  • Exceptional understanding of boat mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to identify different boat models and read orders
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspect boats and/or parts in accordance with Nautique's Quality System
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Must have a valid drivers license (subject to MVR)
  • Forklift certified or able to obtain
