  • Monitor outstanding and unsubmitted corporate card transactions and facilitate timely resolution.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and controls related to card administration and payment processes.

  • Investigate and resolve employee inquiries, system issues and expense discrepancies.
  • Identify recurring employee pain points and recommend improvements that simplify the user experience while maintaining appropriate controls.
  • Conduct risk-based reviews of expense reports, card transactions and exceptions for compliance with applicable Company policies.
  • Use automated controls and reporting to identify unusual transactions, recurring exceptions and potential compliance risks.
  • Document exceptions and monitor corrective actions through resolution.
  • Escalate significant or recurring compliance issues through established channels.
  • Help maintain appropriate separation between transaction approval responsibilities and independent compliance or audit activities.
  • Partner with Accounting and Strategic Sourcing to maintain guidance regarding appropriate purchasing and payment channels for non-travel expenditures.
  • Help employees identify appropriate purchasing methods when corporate cards or travel and expense systems are not the approved channel.
  • Monitor exception activity to identify recurring purchasing behaviors that may indicate opportunities for improved sourcing, contracting or purchasing solutions.
  • Prepare recurring reporting on expense activity, card usage, outstanding reconciliations, policy exceptions and other key program indicators.
  • Analyze transaction and spend data to identify trends, control risks, savings opportunities and process improvements.
  • Recommend enhancements to workflows, controls, employee communications and system functionality.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to travel and expense, corporate cards, purchasing channels and expense-management processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial or expense reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
