Job Description
As a Die Assembly Tech, you will be responsible for:
- Assembly crimping dies.
- Creating labels.
- Assisting the Die Assembly Team Lead in inventory control.
- Using basic problem-solving skills.
- Working closely with the Safety Committee to foster a positive safety culture and to complete safety-related activities.
- Completing required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Completing inspections.
- Administrative duties including daily production reporting related to Productivity, Quality, Material Usage, OEE, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position works on 2nd shift: 12:00pm-10:00pm, Monday-Thursday. Pay rate is based on experience: $15.00 – 40.00/hour. The differential for 2nd shift is $2.00/hour!
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS – DIE ASSEMBLY TECH
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic mechanical experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work with others collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
