Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA specialist to support our team in Hannover, Germany, in a backfill role focused on SD Order Management. You will implement, configure, and enhance order management processes in our S/4HANA environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order processing, data quality, and strong system performance in support of our digital transformation efforts.

  • Design, configure, and customize SAP S/4HANA SD module functionalities to meet business requirements for order management processes
  • Execute data backfill and migration activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with data governance standards
  • Analyze current order management workflows and identify optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce processing times
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including configuration specifications, test cases, and user guides
  • Perform detailed testing of order management functionalities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the SD module
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order management issues, providing timely support to end-users and business teams
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while maintaining system stability and performance
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data security protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Document lessons learned and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field working in multinational organizations or international project environments
  • SAP S/4HANA certification or equivalent professional credential
  • Several years of hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and configuration and proven experience in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module
  • Proven expertise in order management processes and Order-to-Cash (O2C) workflows
  • Strong knowledge of data migration, backfill techniques, and master data management
  • Proficiency in SAP configuration tools and customization methodologies
  • Experience with SQL or database query languages for data analysis and validation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
