Job Description

  • Verifies the preconditions transmitted from the Research and Development Center, verifies and issues all the necessary technical specifications;
  • Discusses and makes all the technical changes together with the responsible person from the Research and Development Center;
  • Collaborates with other departments involved in establishing the necessary tools, processes and equipment;
  • Evaluates the ETO tires according to the process capacity and capacity in the series production;
  • Industrialization of central specifications; 
  • Looks for new ways to improve efficiency, reduce complexity and costs;
  • Responsibility in preparing specifications and documents, revising them to increase the efficiency of the process and the final report;
  • Coordinates and monitors the progress of the SOP (Start of Production) phase;
  • Collects, records and analyzes data in the area of responsibility and initiates corrective / prevention actions in solving problems;
  • Audits the area of responsibility to ensure compliance with the technical specifications and standard Continental practices;
  • Evaluates the limited serial tires according to the process capability in the series production;
  • Offers support in case of problems with certain products or processes;
  • Develops and supports continuous process improvement to reduce production costs and improve quality;
  • Collaborates with Design, Process, Manufacturing departments to solve product and production problems;
  • Manages the introduction of new products and the technical assistance of production, for a specific product or group of products, after the transfer from the design to the internal production.

Qualifications

  • Technical University Degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred);
  • Previous experience as engineer in a production environment - minimum 2 years;
  • Advanced English level;
  • Tire manufacturing  process knowledge represents a plus;
  • PC Skills: Microsoft Office;
  • Structure Problem Solving skills;
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to spend time in the production area;
  • Team player and people driven;
  • Advanced Project Management
