Job Description
We are scaling AI delivery across Continental, and we’re looking for an AI Project Manager who can bridge business goals and technical execution. You will co-manage several AI projects together with project managers on the business side, orchestrating cross‑functional teams (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, IT, and domain experts) to deliver measurable value.
You don’t need to be a senior developer, but you do need enough technical background to discuss solution approaches, read basic code, and keep teams unblocked.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery leadership: Plan and run end to end delivery for multiple AI products, covering scope, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and risk management, in co-leadership with business project managers;
- Backlog and roadmap: Translate business outcomes into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and prioritize with Product Owners and stakeholders;
- Team orchestration: Coordinate Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, IT, and domain experts working on LLM, Computer Vision, and predictive analytics use cases;
- Stakeholder management: Maintain clear communication with business sponsors, IT, security, and compliance, ensure decisions are documented, and actively remove blockers;
- Value tracking: Define success metrics for business value and for models, monitor progress against KPIs and OKRs, and conduct go or no go gates for releases;
- AI lifecycle governance: Ensure robust practices for data management, experimentation, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident response, aligned with MLOps and internal guidelines;
- Vendor and partner coordination: Manage statements of work, deliverables, risks, and timelines when external partners are involved, and integrate their work into internal standards;
- Quality and compliance: Promote code review cadence, reproducibility, documentation, and secure data handling that align with PT HUB ways of working.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar studies;
- Project/Program management in software or data/AI (typically 2+ years), including multi‑workstream delivery in Agile environments;
- Technical literacy: Hands‑on background as a developer or QA/DevOps (not expert level), comfortable reading Python/SQL, understanding Git flows, APIs, and CI/CD basics;
- AI/ML familiarity: Understanding of the ML lifecycle (data prep.; modeling; evaluation; deployment; monitoring), with exposure to LLMs, Computer Vision and Traditional ML concepts and constraints;
- Cloud & tooling: Experience with Azure or AWS; practical use of Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence; dashboards for delivery/OKRs;
- Communication & facilitation: Skilled at aligning technical and business stakeholders, synthesizing trade‑offs, with proficient English language skills (written and spoken);
- Exposure to AI governance (model risk, bias & fairness, data privacy) and GenAI safety practices.
