Job Description
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance projects. This includes ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves working closely with maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Essential Functions:
· Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance projects from inception to completion.
· Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
· Conduct site assessments and inspections to identify maintenance needs and solutions.
· Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
· Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
· Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget status, and performance metrics.
· Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and project outcomes.
· Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams as needed.
· Manage project documentation, including plans, specifications, and maintenance records.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five or more years experience in an manufacturing plant as an engineer with mechanical and electrical methods
