Job Description

Core Responsibilities 

  • Identification, data entry in SAP and distribution of all MRO supplies. Maintain inventory of spare/replacement parts and products for production support, manufacturing equipment, and facility maintenance.
  • Requisition and expedite inventory items to purchasing as required. Reduce inventory value and/or costs through practical inventory practices.
  • Conduct all transactions involving inventory control, organization and housekeeping of the Tool Crib.
  • Process New Part Set Up Requests – SAP CSE data reference and entry.
  • Investigate status and root cause of out of stock items and suggest solutions.
  • Investigate/report status of late deliveries and contact vendors accordingly.
  • Work closely with all departments to insure correct supplies are available to meet requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoice receipts by contacting purchasing and receiving.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Intermediate computer skills;
  • Ability to work in cooperation with multiple team members;
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask;
  • Demonstrated ability to support a very fast paced environment with a lot of heavy lifting;
  • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to lift on a repetitive basis 35lbs and 50lbs on an occasional basis.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree; 
  • Two years of experience;
  • Inventory management experience (SAP, MS Office Suite, O365)
