The Business Area ContiTech develops, produces and markets products, systems and intelligent components made from rubber, plastic, metal and textiles. These products are used in mining, the agricultural industry, railway engineering mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry and other important sectors of the future.

Job Description

This assignment provides a diverse experience in the functions and needs of a rubber manufacturing group. The selected individual will be involved in the support of the Quality department in calibrations.

JOB DUTIES

  • Monitor and complete calibrations of test devices in the Lincoln facility
  • Complete minor upkeep of test devices as needed
  • Work on data gathering to help assist in process improvement projects
  • Participate in root cause analysis meetings for quality issues in the Lincoln plant

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
Minimum GPA 3.0; 15 credit hours completed
Minimum 1.5 years of remaining undergraduate studies

DESIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
2+ years remaining till completion of a Bachelor's degree.
Engineering major is preferred but will consider any technical degree

Additional Information

  • Flexible work schedule to work around school schedule
  • Ability to flex up to 40 hours per week when school is not in session.
