Our Sumter location is seeking a OE Supply Chain Planner to join our organization.

Job Description
- In this role, you ensure the delivery reliability along the total Supply Chain for the plant’s article portfolio.
- In collaboration with internal and external partners you are responsible for the continuous optimization of market demand confirmation under consideration of the plant capacities. Together with the team, Supply Chain support systems and Production, you contribute to the successful production planning and monitoring. Further you support the transportation of the finished product in alignment with Warehousing and the Market Organizations.
- Maintain supply chain system parameter
- Check plausibility of market demand on article level, if necessary coordinate with the markets
- Plausibility and feasibility analysis of the weekly Supply Chain Masterplan
- Actively identify future supply chain issues
- Resp. for phase in/phase out/transfer of articles in terms of planning, communication and coordination of activities inclusive of molds
- Responsible for article related PSI (Production Sales Inventory)
- Provide production proposal based on continious planning (mid- and longterm)
- Decide about priorities of unfeasible demands within the defined scope (shortage management)
- Monitor production execution (warehoused tires)
- Ensure communication of article priorities to production
- Agree on production optimization needs due to demand changes or production deviations
- Responsible for all inventories for her/his articles along the total supply chain including export business
- Ensure delivery reliability per article for all orders in all markets
- Ensure feasibility of the masterplan's shipment plan, monitoring and control of inventories in terms of structure and range of coverage
- Proactively inform market organizations in case of delivery deviations (unplanned shortage)
- Execute given priorities in terms of shortages
- Coordinate the optimization of transports with the transportation planners
- Responsibility of supply availability for her/his assigned Common sizes (article production in several plants)
- Evaluate sales potential, confirmation of unconfirmed orders and current/unplanned demands in consideration of already confirmed demands (exception handling)
- Complete special tasked assigned by Key Supply Chain Planner or Plant Operations Manager
- Strive for optimal quality, costs and customer satisfaction
- Forecasting Original Equipment Sales for assigned accounts together with KAMs and Customers in a collaborative OE sales forecasting process. Key stakeholders are the Customer, KAM, Supply Chain Operations Management, Plant SCPs, MP/L contacts and buyers (through KAM) and any other OE customer personnel regarding demand planning. Analyze release variations from current forecast and maintain on-going contact with OE customer analyst regarding pending changes not reflected in customers’ releases. Forecast is to be maintained weekly with weekly granularity within a 12 weeks horizon and total extension up to 18 months.
- Receive, enter and manage customer call offs and ensure order placement, management and execution. Support customer 24/7 with issues in execution as needed.
- Responsible for customer communication regarding Supply subjects like capacity studies and fulfilment capability of demand variation as well as answering supply chain related tickets as well as portal requests. Responsible to collect significant OE business information to communicate to the OE KAM organization. Track performance ratings and dispute as necessary after analyses and argumentation preparation.
- Weekly updates of Production-Sales-Inventory (PSI) files to communicate the need for (replenishment) shipments and track that the plant’s production plans and shipment execution are meeting the required Inventory parameters.
- Maintains the planning system parameters and constraints in MADA 2.0 for Replenishments. Responsible for communication and follow-up of KPI for the plants. Maintains Safety Stock setting and Minimum Replenishment setting as well as KSP flag (as applicable) in the supply chain, domestic plant warehouse and DC’s. Actively identifies future supply chain issues regarding demand and supply balance and resulting supply chain company performance.
- As necessary, communicate with plant SCPs to discuss market environment, demand trends, status of open issues/projects, improvement processes.
- Mitigate supply risks by discussing production priority and choosing appropriate modes of transportation if needed or/and recommend to the KAM discussing with
- Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
- Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
- Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
- Follow the internal ESH work instructions in the daily work
- Perform other duties as required by the area manager
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, management, other related OR Ten or more years’ of warehousing supervisory/leadership experience

- Three or more years’ experience in the tire industry
