Job Description
- Analyze and manage the stakeholder requirements including internal and legal requirements
- Create and manage the system Architecture based on a derivation from platform project, implementing application and system requirement specification
- Ensure reuse of platform designs
- Negotiate and agree the system design with the stakeholders
- Review and release the system architecture
- Ensure reliability, availability, maintainability, safety, security and privacy aspects for the system
- Design, develop, specify and document of the system and product architecture in consideration of promoting high reuse of platform reference system and product architectures
- Decomposition of product architecture and product requirements to product functions and assignment of physical components as well as discipline components in cooperation with involved disciplines
- Moderation of the design process in cooperation with all involved disciplines
- Own Descriptive and depictive system Architecture
- Support SLE for all system related topics
- Act as product owner to drive the complete system engineering team
- Support Safety Engineers for FSM and Safety Analysis activities
- Make decisions for the product in terms of System development, System test reviews and Safety concept development.
- Product release management and co-ordination with Disciplines
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering ( Electronics/Embedded/Automotive Electronics)
- 8+ years of overall Experience (with at least 5 years in System engineering)
- Experience in automotive development processes (ASPICE, ISO26262 etc.)
- Knowledge of processes, methods and tools in the field of system and requirements engineering (e.g. UML/SysML, DOORS, Rhapsody, Pure Variants etc.)
- Basic knowledge of variant management
- Basic knowledge in software, electrical and mechanical engineering
- Understanding of vehicle architectures, communication protocols, bus systems (e.g. CAN, LIN)
- Good to have - Product knowledge on Battery Sensors
