Job Description
THE POSITION
Responsibilities Include:
• Assists Maintenance Area Leader in project management, troubleshooting, and talent development for the Mixing and Hot Preparation Department.
• Ensures a proper diagnostic of mechanical problems, repair and restart of production machines and systems in the area of responsibility in case of breakdowns. Identify risks on machines and identify needed spare parts. Manage equipment's mechanical spare parts in cooperation with Purchasing Department.
• Lead Structured Problem-Solving initiatives and compile reports, presentations and guidelines in a professional manner after problems have been resolved as well as proactively compiling learning guides for the department.
• Ensures the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (focusing on MaintainME) and including TPM implementation support maintenance processes improvements and maintenance of SAP PM.
• Ensures Environment, Safety and Health requirement fulfillment in the area of responsibility. Informs and insures involvement of area Maintenance employees on ESH issues.
• Identifies, analyses, and ensures the implementation of potential mechanical improvements (including costs savings)) on area production machineries in cooperation with other departments (Production, Quality, and Purchasing).
• Work with machine suppliers in a professional manner, communicate problems, collaborate towards solutions, and implement solutions on machines (software and hardware).
• Lead Structured Problem-Solving initiatives and compile reports, presentations, and guidelines in a professional manner.
• Maintains professional and technical Mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
• Maintain updated mechanical documentation in the area (AutoCad plans, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings).
• Being part of an on-call rotation structure to support the maintenance team
• Coordination between the central implementation team and the local team. Acts as a single point of contact for designated business processes and their implementation/validation.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related degree
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous tire manufacturing experience
• Experience in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects
• Experience with Siemens and or Allen Bradley PLC's
• 3+ years of engineering experience
• Maintenance background
• SAP PM Experience
