Our Mount Vernon, IL location is seeking a PLT Product Industrialization (PI) Construction Engineer. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.

THE POSITION
Industrialize new products and new technology into production. Ensure close working interface as business partner between plant and R&D. Provide technical support by triggering the necessary industrialization activities and business improvement measures. Oversee introduction, development, and maintenance of specifications.
- Work and provide support within the PI Construction Group to achieve factory goals for safety, waste and production.
- Ensure timeliness and adherence to product design, release and performance requirements of R&D Development and factory for assigned product lines and processes.
- Industrialize new and existing products, processes and materials into production which are optimized for process capabilities, cost, minimize rework and comply with the established Release Notice Procedure, Cured Tire Dimensions, and POMS Standards.
- Implement corrective actions required to maintain tire QM wheel, field performance and adjustments levels which exceed or meet the established corporate goals.
- Ensure that internal KPI’s are met on a consistent basis and initiate structured problem solving tasks in case of deviations.
- Initiate and support PIP programs for quality, material, construction and corporate areas.
- Maintain adherence to company policies.
- Drive the 3-4-1 concept within the plant
- Maintain a close and positive working relation with R&D business partner and other plants staff to obtain goals and objectives.
- Hands on daily manufacturing troubleshooting and support to meet all factories cured and green waste goals.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
