Job Description
Due to our continuous growth, the Research & Development team is looking for a Simulation Engineer, who will be responsible for aiding the Tire Development Process by executing complex simulation tasks of our tire’s performance, while having the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries.
The main responsibilities are:
- Simulate the performance prediction of tires by using the Finite Element Method (FEM)
- Analyze, evaluate, and present the simulations results
- Create FEM tire models based on the specification and profile of the tire
- Develop new simulation methods and tools
- Guarantee accuracy, quality and methodological procure in the simulation processes
Qualifications
- Pre-Bologna Degree or Integrated Master’s in an Engineering area, preferably Mechanical, or Mathematics area
- Knowledge of FEM and experience with FE software (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus, Patran)
- Programming skills are beneficial (e.g., Matlab, Python)
- Skills in CAD software (e.g., NX, Catia, Solidworks)
- Project Management skills
- Self-organization and ability to work with autonomy
- Good communication and interaction skills
- English language skills (written and spoken)
- Availability for traveling.
