Join our team as a System Tester in the Architecture and Networking (AN) group, where we develop cutting-edge modules and end-to-end systems in the connected mobility space.

As a System Tester, you will be at the forefront of modern car telematics, which utilizes integrated telecommunications to provide users with a host of features such as emergency call, road-side assistance call, remote services (control your vehicle via smartphone app), remote diagnosis, remote car finder, connectivity via WiFi or BLE, Over the Air software update and much more!

• In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, developing test strategies and specifications, performing tests and preparing reports according to defined processes.
• You will also work closely with stakeholders from all project levels to track and analyze problems throughout the entire development cycle.
• You will get well-versed in setting up test environments, developing test scripts, and improving the test process.
• Additionally, you will have the opportunity to interact with the latest technologies in the telematics domain, mobile networks including 5G and GNSS simulation.
• But wait, there is more: you will have the chance to take part in world-wide test drives to check the behavior of our system.

A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

You can be a perfect match to our team if you have: 

• Graduated in a relevant field (i.e. Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer science, Automatics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Bioengineering); 
• Have minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the field; 
• Good electronics knowledge; 
• Real time embedded systems basic knowledge; 
• Basic programming knowledge, any of the following: (C, C++, C# , Java, Python, LabVIEW, CAPL or other relevant programming languages); 
• Basic knowledge on Linux systems; 
• Knowledge of Vehicle communication protocols (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, Flex Ray, LIN); 
• Test automation know-how;
