Job Description

Constance Ephelia, our luxurious resort in Seychelles, is seeking a highly organised and efficient IT Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating IT projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's information technology infrastructure. You will be the backbone of our IT operations, working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to deliver innovative solutions and maintain our technological excellence. Coordinate and manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff and guests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues with patience and professionalism
  •  Maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and asset inventories
  • Monitor IT systems and infrastructure, identifying potential issues proactively and proposing effective solutions
  •  Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  •  Coordinate staff induction and training sessions on new IT systems, software, and procedures
  •  Manage IT ticketing systems, prioritising requests and tracking resolution times to ensure excellent service delivery
  •  Support the implementation of technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and guest experience
  •  Act as a point of contact for IT-related queries from all departments, demonstrating exceptional customer-focused service
  •  Maintain accurate records of IT expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities within the technology budget

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT coordination, technical support, or a similar role
  •  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with IT ticketing systems
  •  Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, networks, and operating systems
  •  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  •  Exceptional organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  •  Experience in a hospitality or resort environment is highly desirable
  •  Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team
  •  Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays when required to support resort operations
  • Proficiency in IT asset management and software licence management
  •  Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection principles
  •  Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies
  •  Strong customer service orientation with empathy and patience when supporting end-users
  • Ability to remain calm and resilient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  •  IT-related certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate) is advantageous - Project Management certification is desirable
  •  Willingness to undertake continuous professional development and stay current with emerging technologies
