Job Description

  • Assist in the creation, recording, editing, and production of training videos in accordance with Forbes Standards and hotel requirements.
  • Develop and upload training content onto the Learning Management System (LMS), including course introductions, assessments, quizzes, and supporting materials.
  • Create and update product knowledge training materials, including training manuals, presentations, handouts, and PDF resources.
  • Support the Learning & Quality team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of training presentations and educational materials for departmental and hotel-wide training sessions.
  • Participate in internal quality audits and inspections, ensuring complete coverage of guestrooms and operational areas as assigned.
  • Conduct reviews of digital and printed communication materials, including website content, menus, brochures, and other collateral, to identify and report grammatical, spelling, and syntax errors.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining quality-related documents, standards, procedures, and records.
  • Support Management (GM/HM/EAM/QM) with special projects, including research, report preparation, PowerPoint presentations, and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to collect information and materials required for training and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure confidentiality of company information, training materials, and operational data at all times.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management in line with the trainee's learning objectives and departmental requirements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Hospitality Management, Training & Development, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Basic knowledge of video recording and editing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and document review.
  • Creative mindset with an interest in digital learning and content creation.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
