Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Guest Service Manager to join the team at Constance Ephelia, our luxury resort destination in Seychelles. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences whilst leading and motivating a dedicated service team. You will oversee all aspects of guest relations, ensuring that every visitor receives outstanding hospitality and personalised attention throughout their stay. - Lead, supervise, and mentor the guest services team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions
- Oversee the daily operations of the guest services centre, maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency
- Develop and implement guest service policies and procedures that align with resort standards and guest expectations
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and conduct regular appraisals with team members to support their professional development
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate guest experiences and ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using guest management systems and other hospitality software
- Train and induct new team members on service protocols, resort facilities, and guest relations best practices
- Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and contribute to revenue-generating initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations throughout all guest service operations
- Represent the resort professionally and maintain strong relationships with guests, partners, and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a guest services or hospitality management role, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong people skills
- Proficiency in guest management systems (PMS) and hospitality software platforms
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and time-keeping abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Multilingual capabilities (desirable, particularly French; German; Italian or Arabic)
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, service standards, and guest experience management
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards consistently
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
