Job Description
Colliers is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to support technical due diligence assignments for real estate transactions across asset classes such as commercial, residential, retail, and industrial. The role involves evaluating construction quality, regulatory compliance, project risks, and cost parameters to support investment, acquisition, and lending decisions
Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical due diligence reports, highlighting key risks, observations, and recommended mitigation measures. This includes:
- Conduct site inspections and detailed property condition assessments
- Coordinate with clients, developers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Review and evaluate statutory approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance
- Assess design and operational aspects across:
- Architecture
- Structure
- MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire)
- Facade systems
- Identify technical risks, gaps, and compliance issues, and propose practical solutions
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in real estate development, construction, project management consultancy (PMC), advisory, design, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost management
- Understanding of bylaws, NBC, NFPA, RPwD
- Prior experience in project monitoring or technical advisory preferred
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
Qualifications
Bachelors in civil engineering / construction management / architecture
